Looking for a special treat to give the dog-lover on your list? These homemade Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits are a treat I feel good about feeding my fur-baby. Made from natural peanut butter, whole wheat flour, and wheat germ my dog absolutely begs for these easy-to-make, peanut butter dog treats.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, wheat germ and cinnamon. Stir in the water, peanut butter, egg and oil. On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with a 3-in. bone-shaped cookie cutter. Place 2-in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned (tops may crack). Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 31 dog biscuits.
