The slow cooker is a great way to keep an abundance of hot dogs hot over a long period of time. Grilled or not, just pile them into the slow cooker and set it on low. This allows you to grill them ahead of time. Perhaps your summer plans got rained out and you need a quick and easy way to move the party indoors. This idea works great for game days, tailgating (with a plug adapter), and kids birthday parties, too.

These are my favorite split-top buns and Coney Island style hot dogs which are often featured on Buy one get one free (BOGO) at my local grocery store. This keeps entertaining easy and affordable.
