The Barbeque Joint is a Southern-style BBQ restaurant. Although pork and chicken items make up a good portion of the menu, they offer a variety of other items in the way of daily specials. I have attached a list of specials below. The hospitality here was great and we were greeted with smiles from the entire staff from owner to dishwasher. Whether this is your first visit or your forty-fifth visit, the owners make you feel at home.

My husband and I had the opportunity to dine at The Barbeque Joint and it was delicious. Everything on the menu (aside from the sandwich buns and the lemonade) are house made from scratch and it shows. They run daily meat specials but on the day we went (Thursday) the Brisket was not available. We were told there was an overnight smoker malfunction and the brisket did not make it.

I had the half pulled chicken and half pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac n cheese. My husband had a pulled pork platter with a very generous side of hash and rice and mac-cheese. Although there is no children's menu to speak of, my daughter had a small pulled chicken plate with a side of mac n cheese and a slice of sweet corn bread. Neither my daughter or I cared for the mac-n-cheese. Although the flavor was very good, the noodles were somewhat mushy so it was a texture thing for us that day. The hash and rice was very good as were each of the BBQ meats.

To accompany the BBQ they offer an array of scratch made sauces that encompass something for every palette: sweet, Carolina mustard and vinegar based sauces which were all good. There are others options available but these are the ones we tried. They also provide an assortment of fresh packed pickle slices which were a yummy addition to my sandwich or alone and the cornbread was sweet and moist.

We recommend The Barbeque joint and will be back again soon. They are open from 11am to 4pm Monday through Wednesday and are open 11 am to 8:30 pm Thursday through Saturday. They are closed on Sundays. For their website and a look at the menu click here or find them on Facebook
