My family enjoys BBQ with a bit of pickled hot peppers. The vinegar of the peppers cuts through the richness of the meat and sauce and the heat from the peppers adds a nice kick. We add these after cooking so that the kids don’t get a hold of the spicy flavors they do not enjoy but if your whole family enjoys a little extra spiciness, you could add these into the sauce as well.
- 3 -4 pounds baby back pork ribs, fat trimmed
- salt and pepper to taste
- roasted garlic powder
- 2 cups BBQ sauce
- hot pickled peppers, optional
- Pat the ribs dry, season with roasted garlic powder, salt and pepper, place them in the slow cooker with the bones vertical wrapped around the inside. Cook on low for about 8 hours.
- Drain any liquid and brush with your favorite BBQ sauce.
